First printed by William Morris in 1883, Strawberry Thief was part of a group of designs incorporating animals with flowers. Introduced as a furnishing fabric for Liberty in 1979, it depicts birds stealing fruit within Morris’s Oxfordshire garden. This is the A colourway - a forest green, specially produced to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Liberty's Classics range.
Tana Lawn cotton has a unique print quality and colour absorption that is second to none, with a distinctive hand-feel and translucent softness that ensures it remains a versatile favourite. Use it to create pretty lined party dresses or perfectly tailored shirts and tees for little ones – Tana Lawn is even machine washable, as well as being durable enough for daily wear.
Fabric measures 53" wide. Printed on superfine 100% cotton tana lawn. Made in Italy.
Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.
This fabric is $36/meter or $9 for a quarter meter strip.
