  • Product Description

Traditional hand block and dye techniques are used to make this wonderful rural cloth. Part of the Rajasthan Express collection, developed by Merchant & Mills. This fabric is hand dyed. Perfect for a apparel or a quilt!

For the first wash, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degree celsius with a handful of table salt. This will fix the dye to prevent it running. (30 - 40 degree Celsius is 86 - 104 degrees Fahrenheit, which is typically the cold or warm setting on a US washing machine.  Please refer to your individual washing machine's operating manual for temperature setting).

Delaunay Indigo is recommended for the following patterns in Merchant & Mills The Workbook: Bantam, Heron and Saltmarsh

43" (110cm) wide. 100% summer weight cotton. Hand dyed in Jaipur, India.

Sold and priced in 0.25 meter increments.  We cut additional increments of fabric continuously.  For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 43" (110cm)  wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.

This fabric sells for $12.80/meter or $3.20 for a quarter meter strip.
