For Painted Journey, the Liberty Fabrics studio drew inspiration from Marianne North’s incredible botanical artworks. This richly oil-painted floral design pays homage to North’s intrepid adventures around the globe, her nonconformist lifestyle and her incredible skill for the documentation of wild and exotic flora.
Liberty Fabrics’ English Eccentrics collection for Spring/Summer 2019 draws inspiration from seven eclectic home-grown muses, spanning across a range of creative genres and historical periods. From a decadent prince regent to a pioneering botanist, an aristocratic poet and gardener, a carefree ‘60s musician, a contemporary artist, an activist-slash-actress and a beloved children’s author, this diverse collection of muses each reflect the adventurous and disruptive spirit of Liberty.
Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.
This fabric is $36/meter or $9 for a quarter meter strip.
