Product Description

The Jungle Tapestry print offers a fresh, modern take on the tapestry artworks developed by William Morris & Co at Merton Abbey. Inquisitive animals hide among the fronds and palm leaves of the jungle flora, watchfully gazing from the lush scenery.  This version is printed on Piccadilly Poplin.  Poplin is a tonal, substantial and dense fabric, meaning it is ideally suited for creating loose-fitted garment shapes.

The Merton Muse collection celebrates Liberty London’s long and illustrious creative history. It is named for the South London Merton printworks, which was bought by Liberty London in 1904 and was the original birthplace of our world-famous archive of blocks, pattern books, artworks and swatch books. These prints offer an homage to the great textile artists who have worked with us over the years, and to the iconic designs they have been producing for over a century.

Fabric measures 57" wide.  Printed on superfine 100% cotton Piccadilly Poplin (approximately 161 grams per square meter or 4.7 oz / yard)  Made in the United Kingdom.

Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously.  For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.

This fabric is $34/meter or $8.50 for a quarter meter strip.
