('al-bª). noun [usu. as object]
is a handknit cashmere wristlet, named after a white rose with a sweet summer scent. We designed it as a bridal wristlet for a good friend who needed something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue before her big walk down the aisle. The wristlet fits an ipod or blackberry, lipstick, and a few tissues for wiping away tears of joy.
ORIGIN New York City, pattern written by the Jones & Vandermeer design team.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL easy (some rudimentary sewing involved)
SIZE 4½” at widest point x 5½” long.
- Qualità Cashmere: 1 ball; shown in Wonderful White
- Shiny Sparkly Lurex: you really only need about 80", shown in Silver
- A lightweight fabric, like cotton lawn or poplin that is at least 6x11” in size. We used Liberty’s classic Pepper pattern in Blue to satisfy our bride’s need for something blue.
