Product Description

CURIOUS COPPER

|'kyur-ee-Ļs| |'ka-pĻr|

noun [usu. as object]

a sock weight yarn spun from an organic and fair trade blend of Peruvian baby alpaca and pima cotton with a touch of pure copper fiber. Copper is believed to have anti-microbial properties that inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria. Fabrics with copper also aid in the regulation of body heat. For some, copper’s anti-inammatory properties can have a therapeutic effect and deliver a sense of wellness.

Currently available in 6 colours.  The naked colourway is undyed -- a blend of pure baby alpaca and cotton fibers as they occur in nature.  The colored skeins are dyed by the Saco River Dyehouse, organically certified under the GOTS International Textile Standards.

ORIGIN: Peru; discovered by the intrepid explorers of Jones & Vandermeer in the early 21st century.

Curious Copper is sold as a 100g skein. We are happy to wind the skein into a ball for you (just leave us a note to do so in the comment box). Please note that all skeins once wound into a ball are non-refundable.
