Inspired by a furnishing fabric from 1984 in the Liberty Archive, bold ornamental dragons have been visualised through continuous line drawings using fineliner pen. The elegant, undulating bodies are captured floating through a dense area of ground space in this multidirectional design.
Zodiac: Year of the Dragon
To celebrate Chinese New Year 2024, Liberty Fabrics has created a capsule collection to welcome the Year of the Dragon. Delving into the rich and mystical symbolism of this zodiac sign, the Liberty design studio have used an array of mediums from watercolour to calligraphy to design a beautiful range of enigmatic prints - bringing in the new year with a parade of fantastical designs awash with colour.
Fabric measures 53" wide. Printed on superfine 100% cotton lawn (Weight: 76 g/sqm). Designed in UK, printed in Italy.
Sold and priced in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long.
