For the creation of this intricate and dreamlike celestial landscape, the Liberty designers immersed themselves into the strange world of David Bowie. A star-filled sky becomes the canvas for a wealth of elemental motifs ranging from lightning and sunbeams to flying spaceships, woven between with winding song lyrics. Created in fine liner pen, this cosmic two-colour conversational transports the wearer far beyond the stars.

For Spring/Summer 2022, Liberty Fabrics takes us on a journey through layers of fantastical worlds – an adventure into the vibrant realm of the imagination, celebrating the magic of the strange and unexpected. For this collection, the Liberty Fabrics designers focus on the art of storytelling through ‘Literature’, ‘Music’ and ‘Theatre’: a feast for the senses, woven through with a vivid narrative of creativity and escapism. Together these three stranded stories combine into a magical collection where nothing is ever quite as it seems.
