Exploring the rich history of gardens led the design studio to revisit Liberty’s own archive of botanical patterns through the ages. Marquess Belle is a harmonious fusion of two cherished prints: Little Marquess, a traditional garden design from a 1977 scarf, and Rachel, a timeless floral classic. Shifting between detailed linework and bold, overlapping silhouettes, the composition unveils layers of sharp contrasts and dramatic, large-scale shadows.

Rooted in the rhythms of the natural world, this collection draws inspiration from the cycles of the seasons, mirroring the ever-evolving landscape of fashion. Just as a gardener cultivates their garden in preparation for the seasons ahead, Design Nature Art by Liberty Fabrics honours the quiet transformations that unfold with time. Curated through three distinct chapters: Story Garden, Gallery Garden, and Painted Garden, this series celebrates the profound connection between creativity and the cultivated world where history, imagination, and artistic expression bloom in unison.

Sold and priced in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long.
