Meticulously hand-painted in the Liberty studio, this majestic botanical was based on a May Morris design dating back to c.1892. Originally drawn on paper for a pair of embroidered portière hangings, it reflects both medieval and Ottoman influences. Stylised tulips, roses, peonies, poppies, daffodils, daisies, and irises bloom among acanthus ogee trails, their symmetry softened by the fluidity of watercolour.

Fabric measures 53" wide. Printed on superfine 100% OEKO Tex Class 1, cotton lawn (Weight: 76 g/sqm). Designed in UK, printed in Italy.
Sold and priced in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long.
This fabric is $43 /meter or $10.75 for a quarter meter strip.
