One of our suitcase finds that came home with us on a trip to Japan! Dorset Rose was painted in watercolour in the Liberty Fabrics studio, capturing a graceful dog rose. This climbing species of wild rose forms hips after the successful pollination of flowers in spring or early summer, ripening in late summer through to autumn. This variation of Dorset Rose has been printed on a Japan only light blue base.
The listing is for a single fat quarter of the fabric (approximately 20x21").
Printed in Japan on 100% cotton Japanese tana lawn. Tana Lawn produced in Japan is extremely fine, arguably with a smoother hand and sheen than the UK version.
