One of our suitcase finds that came home with us on a trip to Japan! Faithfully printed with precise brush strokes and delicate pencil marks, Irma's Garden expresses nature in its simplest and most beautiful form. Euphorbia, poppies, astrantia, and iberis are hand-painted with soft watercolors and combined with a lattice pattern of openwork weave to create the impression of a fantastical grassland. This version of Irma's Garden has been superimposed over a grid, and is a Japan only variation.
Fabric measures 42.5" wide. Printed in Japan on 100% cotton Japanese tana lawn. Tana Lawn produced in Japan is extremely fine, arguably with a smoother hand and sheen than the UK version.
Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously. For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 42.5" wide and 1 meter long.
This fabric is $38/meter or $9.50 for a quarter meter strip.
