Product Description

From Lise Tailor France, Giverny printed on ecovero Viscose:

"Giverny is an abstract motif that originates in the many works of Claude Monnet painted on the edge of his pond in this emblematic place. Like a painter’s palette, small multicolored touches are scattered on the fabric. Like the water lilies in the painter’s best-known works, these rounded spikes of color cover a navy blue background. Fuchsia, sky blue, water green, purple, orange, white and beige bring warmth to this composition and bring color into our spring. This small French village gives its name to this fabric and sets the scene for our collection.

This motif is worn on everything and everywhere; from the blouse we love in spring, to the midi dress and our fitted pants. The colors of this viscose allow all combinations for its 100% handmade dressing room."  -- Lise Tailor

This fabric is slightly see-through and might require lining.

Fabric measures 54" wide (140 cm).  Printed on a 100% viscose LENZING™ ECOVERO™, FSC and STeP by OEKO-TEX® certified. 135 g per a square meter (4.76 oz per square yard).  Made in France.

Lise Tailor recommends that you wash your fabric before sewing it, as viscose often shrinks by around 5 to 10%.

Care Instructions: Wash your fabric in a net to preserve the colors, using a gentle detergent without bleach. Wash your fabric with a delicate or silk program, max temperature 30°C (86°F). Gentle spin (max 1000 revolutions). Dry your laundry in the open air, taking care to smooth it out of the machine.  No dryers.  Iron at medium temperature.

Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously.  For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 54" wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.

This fabric is $20.40/meter or $5.10 for a quarter meter strip.
