Merchant & Mills' "The Ellsworth" Pattern
An oversized, boxy shirt with a dropped back hem and half placket. Swingy and absurdly comfortable.
This is a multi-size paper pattern including UK sizes 6 – 18. Seam allowances are included in the pattern at 1.5cm, unless otherwise stated.
Suggested Fabrics: 3-6oz linen, cotton poplin, cotton lawn, cotton double gauze, Indian handlooms, cotton chambray, Tencel, hemp/cotton blends. Do not choose anything too heavy, as the back is lower than the front it will pull down making it uncomfortable at the neck!
Other Supplies: 1 x Matching thread. 6 x 11-15mm/1/2″ – 3/4″ buttons. 0.3M/1/2YD lightweight interfacing.
