Product Description

Carline Rose is a beautiful floral rose design, with shaded leaves protecting delicate and richly-toned petals. This design is based on a painting from the 1990s, but is in the style of a 1950s floral. The original Carline was always a popular design in the Classic Tana range. It was recently used by up and coming, London designer Richard Quinn.

Silk crepe de chine is effortlessly luxe, with a lightweight drape that’s made more durable by a matte, slightly rough surface. It is relatively easy to sew, and is one of the best silk bases for daytime wear. Try a louche silhouette, with relaxed tailoring that includes voluminous sleeves and wide-cut trousers.

Classic Silks Collection

Silk is intrinsic to the Liberty story and was the first and only product sold when the original shop opened in 1875. It was the soft, colourful silks that established the Liberty name, and quickly became the original Liberty fabric. It remained the number one commodity within the business for 50 years. Continuing upon this legacy, Liberty presents this “Classic Silk Collection”, a celebration of signature designs throughout its history, reworked and recoloured within the London design studio for a rich yet modern interpretation of Liberty silk.

Fabric measures 54" wide.  Printed on 100% silk, Kensington Crepe de Chine (97 gsm meter). Designed in the UK, printed in Italy.

Sold in 1/4 meter (0.27 yards) increments. Price is for a 1/4 meter. We cut additional increments of fabric continuously.  For example, if you select 4 units (which equates to 1 meter), you will receive a single piece of fabric that is 53" wide and 1 meter long. We regret that fabric, once cut, is non-refundable.

This fabric is $62/meter or $15.50 for a quarter meter strip.
