Maison Fauve's "Almost Shirt" Pattern
The perfect little summer blouse that goes with everything, easy to sew and beautifully finished – this is it! The ALMOST sewing pattern is reminiscent of men's short-sleeved shirts with its cuff turn-ups, straight cut, and soft collar. But don't be fooled: the volume, length, and darts make it an adorable blouse that will quickly become an indispensable part of your handmade wardrobe. And for a more streamlined version, you can also sew a collarless variant of the blouse.
Skill level: INTERMEDIATE. The technical points of the pattern are: attaching the flat collar, the clean finish of the neckline with facings, assembling the sleeve (made easier by the 3-part sleeve), the cuff turn-ups, and the bust and shoulder darts.
