Maison Fauve's "Transat" Dress Pattern
The TRANSAT dress is the perfect summer sew-along for lounging by the water. Quick and easy to sew, it's not short on style. Its bust is built with a pretty pleat on the shoulders, its neckline embellished by a V-neckline front and back (bra compatible!) and it's necked with a pretty slit down the middle that adds sophistication to the model. With its supple, belted waistline, TRANSAT is very comfortable to wear.
Seam allowances are included (1 CM). Bilingual French / English pattern. Written using metric units.
Skill level: beginner, technical points include shoulder pleats, neckline and front slit.
Sizes: 34-52 (French) / approximately equal to size 4 to 22 (US). Please refer to size charts for more information.

Suggested fabrics: Fabric selection: light to medium-weight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with varying degrees of hold, depending on the desired finish. Viscose, soft jacquard, tencel, cotton, crepe, poplin, satin or twill. A fluid fabric will give a supple fall, while a fabric with a little hold will provide more puffiness.
